And when you have an insurance agent you trust and quality coverage that protects what really matters to you, you want your friends and family in on it too. Who wouldn’t want exceptional personal service and the chance to save thousands over what they currently pay?
We founded Signature Personal Insurance to be that topic of conversation, and the majority of our business comes from referrals. You don’t hear about our office assistants or our call center. That’s because personal insurance is personal. That means answering our own phones and working directly with you. You’ve worked too hard to trust your insurance to anyone else.
Here’s a little background
Roper graduated first in his class at the National Alliance School for Producer Development. He gained considerable experience working for a prestigious insurance firm until he felt the next logical step in his development was to build his own agency. He set his sights on creating a truly service-oriented insurance agency and never looked back.
Roper earned his designation as a Certified Insurance Counselor administered by The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. He also has participated in the AIG Private Client Group Risk Management Conferences and PURE Leadership Forums.
Roper served on the Bethany College Alumni Counsel and is a current member of the Bethany College Board of Directors. He also served as a church council member for Trinity Lutheran Church, Mission, Kansas as well as a high school youth counselor. He is a member of the Kansas Association of Independent Agents. Roper was also selected to the 2009 class of Centurions by the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce.
Banking was to be Remington’s career after a short assignment as an economic development coordinator with the Salina Chamber of Commerce. From 1998 to 2007, Remington held positions of progressive responsibility at several banking institutions in Kansas including, vice president of retail banking and vice president of commercial banking.
In 2007, Signature Personal Insurance was growing significantly. Roper, the firm’s founder, reached out to the person he knew he could trust to deliver superior customer service and who had experience within the financial sector, his brother, Remington. In early 2008, Remington became a principal and general manager of Signature Personal Insurance.
Today, Remington is equally responsible for delivering a premier customer experience to Signature clients throughout the nation. He strategically directs operations, ensuring seamless management of our priorities, support staff and financial operations.
Remington’s interests are varied, but include membership in Rotary, volunteering at the Lord’s Diner and coaching youth baseball. A passionate recreational athlete and outdoors enthusiast, Remington competes in adventure racing events throughout the U.S., recently competing in the 2016 United States Adventure Race Association Nationals in Augusta, GA.
Jared easily settled into his new role and quickly gained knowledge about the industry by participating in events such as AIG Private Client Group’s Producer University and the Council for Insuring Private Client’s inaugural conference. He is focused on educating homeowners on insurance while providing a high level of customer service for his clients.
Outside of work, Jared’s hobbies have him involved in the community, but also have taken him around the world. An avid traveler and photographer, he is always thinking about his next trip. He is a graduate of the Centurions leadership program through the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. He has also served on multiple boards such as the MU Extension in Jackson County, the Downtown Community Improvement District and the Committee for the Mayors’ Prayer Breakfast.
